We will also be offering three boat fishing tour options.

A great intro to angling: the Quick Trip. This is a great quick trip to introduce you to the thrills of angling from a boat. This tour is directed towards those staying at Three Valley Resort during the spring, summer and fall seasons.

A Half Day AAA Trip essentially the same as the full day boat fishing trips but will exclude angling on Upper Arrow lake and shore lunch.

The Full Day AAA Trip will offer angling adventures on Lake Revelstoke, Three Valley, Upper Arrow Lake and the Columbia River. This boat angling trip will be available in two different boat sizes to cater to group size and water conditions. The goal is a safe and quality experience with knowledgeable guided instruction. The full day angling adventure trip will include a shore lunch, which will be part of the 8-hour day on the water.

Quick Trips - 2 hours

This is a great trip for young families, older couples or any guest staying at the Three Valley Resort but is also offer on stunning Lake Revelstoke as well. If you’re short on time and looking to get out on the water for a couple hours this is the trip for you. There are many beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. If you’re into trains the CP Rail main line runs along the north shore of the Three Valley lake passing through several avalanche sheds that protect the trains for the snows and rocks the fall from the high cliffs above. On these cliffs live a bunch of agile mountain goats. If you’re lucky enough you might have the opportunity to watch them nimbly navigate the sheer cliffs above the lake. Or if you just into the fishing there’s a good chance of wrestling one of the many fish that inhabit this scenic mountain lake.

Half Day Boat Trip - 4 hours

We will be offering half day boat fishing trips, on Lake Revelstoke, Three Valley Lake, and the Columbia River. These trips will be a great choice if you only have a half day to spare. With lots of good fishing only a short distance from town our half day boat trips are a great choice for parents and kids to get outside, enjoy nature and take in some stunning scenery. All the bodies of waters fished are surrounded by glacier capped mountains, with lush forests that descend from alpine to valley floor, wildlife sightings are not uncommon as well, making catching fish truly just a bonus. You will be shown a few fishing techniques including trolling, casting along shore lines, strike indicator / float fishing and even vertical jigging. Helpful professional advice and tips to aid you on your next unguided fishing adventure.

Full day boat trip - 8 hours

We will also be offering full day fishing trips, on Lake Revelstoke, Three Valley, Upper Arrow lake and the Columbia River. With some of the largest trout on earth residing in the bodies of water which we fish, the possibility of landing a true river/lake monster and a fish of a life time is a real possibility. If numbers of fish is what your after, lake Revelstoke in the summer months is a hot spot for Kokanee fishing. These little land locked salmon school up in huge numbers and with a limit of 15 per fishing license, you can catch enough to feed yourself and others for days. Not to mention these fish are some of the most delicious on the planet. On our full day boat trip guests will be shown a few fish techniques including trolling, casting along shore lines, strike indicator / float fishing and even vertical jigging. Full day trips include a shore lunch for guest to get off the boat stretch their legs and refuel for a second round of fighting fish.

Angling is only one part of our outdoor adventures, you can also expect to hear about the history of this beautiful mountain town, intimate knowledge of terrains, landscapes, waterfalls and wildlife species. We hope that you will leave with a better understanding of angling techniques, tactics, and fond memories of stunning mountain vistas. Not to mention some awesome angling stories, photos and videos to share with friends and family for many years to come.

 The species of fish we’ll be targeting are: Rainbow Trout, some of the worlds largest; Gerard Rainbows, can reach over 30 LBS; and the native Yellow Fin Rainbows, are smaller but very strong fighters. The Bull Trout in this system can reach over 20 LBS in weight, there are also Brooke Trout and Lake Trout in some of the smaller lakes in the area. We will also will be fishing for Kokanee and Burbot.
