COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

We are really excited to have you in Revelstoke. The weather is great and the incidence of Coronavirus is VERY low. We are asking for your help in keeping it that way. The goal of this plan is to keep clients, employees and the communities that support AAA GUIDED TOURS safe and healthy, and to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19 during the course of normal business operations.

Preparation:

  • Please plan ahead for your trip. Shopping for gear or other items should be done in your home community as much as possible.

  • A signed liability as well as COVID-19 waiver will need to be signed before you depart on your booked trip. The new waiver will include COVID-19 language stating that AAA GUIDED TOURS will not be responsible if you contract the virus at our operation.

  • Personal Protective Equipment is strongly recommended. It is your own decision, but we will provide masks for your use.

  • If you do need to stop for supplies on your way, please be safe, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. We also recommend sanitizing your hands prior to entering and after leaving a business.

  • Bring gear for any weather. We do our best to follow CDC guidelines for sanitizing any gear you may need to borrow for your trip, but you’ll be more comfortable in your own clothing, waders and boots.

  • Report any symptoms of COVID-19 to AAA GUIDED TOURS before your booking and after your trip. If you are having any symptoms, or believe you have had exposure to any person with COVID please do not travel to Revelstoke. We will re-schedule your trip for you when you have recovered.

Whenever possible, limit your personal interaction to only include members of your household or those you’ve been sheltering in place with prior to travel. During your stay: We can’t always maintain social distance while fishing, but we can take other steps while on board:

Whenever possible, limit your personal interaction to only include members of your household or those you’ve been sheltering in place with prior to travel. During your stay: We can’t always maintain social distance while fishing, but we can take other steps while on board:

  • Don’t share your rod, food, beverages, or clothes with people outside of your household.

  • You will prepare your own lunch for your days on the river. We discourage sharing foods or beverages from a container (e.g., bag of chips, jerky, shared water bottle, etc.).

  • Please make sure and keep any gear in your personal space during your stay to mitigate potential contamination.

After your trip:

  • Let us know if you or anyone in your party becomes ill within 48 hours of your trip completion
